Wildflower Adventure Co-op commits itself to the following values:

Deliver exceptional experiences: our guides are outdoor professionals who are passionate about what they do. WAC guides are trained in wilderness medicine and have several years of personal and professional experience in the areas we guide. Our climbing guides are AMGA trained and held to a high standard of skill, care, and professionalism. We pride ourselves on a guide team that prioritizes risk management and continually pushes themselves to learn and develop their skillset.

 

Elevate underrepresented voices: the guiding and outdoor industry has not been historically inclusive, and there is still so much progress to be made. WAC aims to mitigate barriers to BIPOC, queer, and women-identifying guides through a cooperative model that operates on mutual respect and humility.

 

Financial accessibility: If you are unable to attend due to the cost of a course or trip, please reach out to wildfloweradventureco@gmail.com. We have full and partial scholarships available based on financial need.

 

Guide financial wellness: the majority of your trip or course fee goes directly to your guides. This allows them the financial resources to stay in the field, pursue advanced training and development, and afford an increasing cost of living.

 

Giving back: At least 10% of our revenue goes back to scholarships and gear rentals for folks who are unable to afford full-price courses. We believe that financial barriers should not preclude access to the outdoor experiences and instruction. We work with affinity groups and organizations to provide customized events for individuals with varied identities and unique learning needs.

Feedback oriented: We value the feedback of our clients and guides and are always looking to improve. Constructive feedback is appreciated as it helps us grow into an organization that listens to its community and responds appropriately.
