Half Dome Backpacking - Glacier Point Start Saturday, August 10th to Tuesday, August 13th, 2024 2 spots available Description: Backpack through stunning scenery in Yosemite National Park and experience one of its most iconic summits! In this 4-day, 3-night trip, we will make our way from Glacier Point to Half Dome, and complete our trip by descending into Yosemite Valley. Your trip includes: ALL personal lightweight backpacking gear: backpack, ultralight tent, sleeping pad and sleeping bag, trekking poles Bear canisters, group cooking gear, water filtration ALL meals, snacks, and beverages from Saturday evening to Tuesday afternoon. Wilderness permits, Half Dome permits, campsite reservations, and park entrance fees 24/7 guide care with Wilderness First Responder trained guides, group medical kits, emergency satellite communication device and evacuation support, expert guide support and knowledge of the route Pre-trip planning support and preparation Not included: Transportation to and from our meeting location in Yosemite Valley Guide gratuity (recommended 15-20% of your trip cost)

Cancellation Policy

Backpacking Trip Cancellation Policy We understand that life happens and aim to provide a generous cancellation policy. For additional coverage, we recommend purchasing trip insurance. Our refund policy for backpacking trip cancellations is as follows: 60+ days before trip departure: 100% refund <60 days before trip departure: 90% refund <45 days before trip departure: 80% refund <30 days before trip departure: 60% refund Note for Half Dome backpacking trips: due to the high demand of these trips, we have a non-refundable $75 deposit in order to hold your spot. We are unable to provide refunds less than 14 days before trip departure. However, we are always happy to move you to another trip and work with you on certain exceptions.
