Service Description

Women’s Trad Climbing Weekend June 21st-23rd, 2024 Rock Creek Spend a weekend learning to trad climb in a supportive environment and beautiful location! We’ll spend a weekend learning to trad climb, eating delicious meals, and connecting with other women who are also budding trad leaders. In this course, we will go over gear placements, anchor building and management, as well as leading on and cleaning trad gear. We'll also go into crack climbing techniques and risk management strategies to help you break into the world of trad climbing! This 2-day course is best suited for climbers who have climbed outdoors before and have experience lead climbing and belaying. It's also recommended that participants are confident climbing at the 5.8 grade or higher outdoors. The course includes 2 nights of camping in the Rock Creek area and ALL meals from Friday dinner to Sunday lunch. Schedule: Optional: Friday, June 21st: arrive at the campsite anytime after 5pm Saturday, June 22nd: 8am-4pm climbing and instruction Sunday, June 23rd: 8am-4pm climbing and instruction Upon booking, our team will reach out to you with itinerary details and additional information. ​ Climbing Cancellation Policy: 48 hours or more before course start time: full refund Less than 48 hours before course start: 80% refund We will make exceptions for extenuating circumstances but ask that you give us as much advance notice as possible so we can best prepare for our courses.
